How to help and how to hinder your open air preaching brother

Encouraging Open Air Preachers of Christ
Listen, even if only for a few moments or minutes, it encourages others to stop (Lev.26.18)
Be respectful & reverent, not to the preacher, but to God, it is God's Word that is being preached, just as much as from the pulpit (Jon.3.6,2 Ki.7.19)
Remember the solemn obligation of the Great Commission to preach the Gospel to every creature, not only those who dare venture inside or have access to a Gospel church. (Mk.16.15)
Each hearer will give an account for how they respond (1 Pet.4.5-6) preaching has a role to play in judgement as well as salvation (Acts 24.25)
Pray for fruitfulness, courage, wisdom & protection. (2 Thess.3.1)
Say a brief greeting, but please don't expect preacher to stop or chat, he's busy with winning souls.(Neh.6.3)
Please don't distract by talking to others in front of or near the preacher, any more than you would in a church, if you have a contact, move to the side first.(Lk.8.20)
Feel free to photo/video, it's already public, and yes you can post it to sites, be careful to honour God only in your caption.(1 Pet.3.15)
If you disagree with the preacher's words, style or method (Phil.1.16) unless he's violating God's Law, leave him alone, God will deal with the tares (Matt.13.30).
Be ready to call the police if you wish, if there are repeated violent threats or intimidation against the preacher, but most men are quite familiar with this, so please don't overreact (Lk.12.4-5) sometimes just watching closely is enough to discourage malice. Please don't get yourself into trouble for our sakes.
If he incites or encourages violence, slanders or libels, or is gratuitously offensive, like Westboro Baptist Church, feel free to call the police to arrest & remove him (Acts 4.19).
Remember Jeremiah was falsely accused, arrested & nearly executed on similar grounds, when in fact his heart was full of fiery love, his lips with painful truths and his Lord had directly commissioned & commanded every single word. (Jer.19 3, 26.8)
